Protein intake suggestions(bodybuilders welcome)

Salmon and quinoa ... lots of different flavor combinations you can pull off. Lime ginger and lemon black pepper are two of my favs, but have tried out others like honey and ginger. Quinoa can take some flavoring while it's being made, ie the lime or lemon zest in the water.

There are a lot of different recipes online, as it is an amazing 1-2 punch of protein.

with the dietary limitations you have I vote you hammer hardboiled eggs for every meal, every day. Between chicken, turkey, lean beef, cheese and eggs I barely ever have to smack a protein shake unless I need to skip a meal. Look into protein bars like krich suggested, a lot of those are geared towards powerlifters and body builders and as such are made with little to no sugar or extra carbs.

what type of shake are you drinking that is making you sick? specifically brand/flavor, and with your fluid lims are you mixing it with less water, or milk?
Is there a difference in hard boiled eggs and scrambled eggs(with protein)?

I can't remember the name of the first shake I was using but it also included all the basic vitamins. It's not sold in stores like Walmart. I got the website from the dietitian(this was about 2-3 years ago). The other was the common protein shake sold at walmart.

I'm going to look into the bars. I've tried some and thought they were nasty. I suppose I can work my way down the flavors.
 
You guys are too nice.. my mind went straight to the gutter... 2 to 3 shots directly to the mouth does my wife just fine....
 
Lol,that does sound gross!.....in the prisons here they mix tuna,Ramen noodles,cheese curls and just about anything else that they can get a hold of and they call it a chi chi.

Borg whu cant you tolerate the whey ? I dont remember the brand i ised to use but it was just whey no additives at all, that and eggs.

I don't know if the liquid protein shakes use whey. Best I can tell I don't have a problem with the powdered whey other then the amount of liquid needed

no difference, just ease of having them prepared for a couple days vs. cooking them every day that's all. I only eat egg whites so I don't get the luxury haha.

I would...head to the nearest GNC if you have them and just look for a whey protein that you can try....I use Dymatize Elite Whey. Stuff tastes great and the macros are pretty solid for someone with a sugar limitation. Also look for PB2 at your local Wal Mart or other grocery store...its powdered peanut butter. Same protein content as regular PB but less fat and I'm fairly certain less sugar. You can use it on anything.

Lol some bars are foul but there are some out there that are damn tasty too. All about preference when it comes down to it.

Actually, I make my own version when I don't feel like cooking anything else but it only consists of the noodles,whichever meat is on hand but usually tuna,fish or chicken,sliced bell peppers and thats it.The cheese curls and squeeze cheese disgusts me.
