Reclassification of Heroine Cichlids from CA and the Andes

Definitely sticky material.
It was very interesting to see cichlids thought to be closely related now aren't.
Aren't the "Mayans" still being sorted into different species based on certain locations?

I believe they are now considered a species complex.

From the chart looks like salvini too? It is very interesting to see the close relation to thorichthys. I know for years it was always thought they might be.
Also it's interesting to see "cf robertsoni". It was suspected that the Honduras variation is a separate species.
