Craigslist or a pawnshop might have some cheap ones,if that doesn't work u can get a Bowie off cutlerycorner (a online site,last I checked they were 12 bucks plus shipping).

Yeah,I have seen a few good sources for what I want.It's just a matter of me around to it.Knifemaking sounds like a fun and interesting thing to get into.

My friend is learning forging and did a course, and unless done professionally won't really make you much money
I agree completely as I would plan on mirror polishing,pattern Damascus,finger rings,unusual materials such as mammoth tooth handles and patterned gold inlay to set my self apart from competitors.
Actually no,as there r no good jobs available here and nobody out here has any money (many of the jobs offered here aren't even minimum wage),this place is dying
