I want to build a monster sized tank

Hello I have a few tanks but I want a huge tank and I want to build it myself anyone have experience in this field I would appreciate the input I want to go large I'm talking 8ft.long 6ft.wide and 6ft.tall I need specs like glass thickness or thickness of the acrylic I m going freshwater for sure I'm building my man cave off my master suit in the basement of my home so any input would be awesome thanks

I have decided to shorten my height so I can put a drainage pipe on the bottem so 5ft.tall now any input on filtration ,lighting ,and so on will be great I'm thinking a pool filter and temp control system will be ideal input is great thanks for everyone's help
