Fresh water monos? How are they to keep?

pure fresh they are 10-12 inches tall- no issues at all.. the problem people have with keeping monos in fresh is the water needs to be immaculate...including nitrates - Another fantastic oddball dither

I guess technically Mylossoma is a pacu but because of the size i think they fall in the "silver dollar" world

Yep mylossoma, I bought a batch of 6 back in 2010 or 11 haven't seen them for sale again until now.

Monodactylus sebae are perfect dithers IMO, I had 8 of them and grew them out to about 8" tall. Ill probably end up getting a few and growing them out again.
