Is this a good deal, LMB?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
$400 for a bass? Yes, that's too much. Doesn't say how big it is, just that it's outgrowing his tank. We seined a 3.5" bass from our local creek and put it in our tank. It hasn't died and hasn't infected all our equipment in 3 months now. We keep native fish, also from local streams, and not pet store tropical fish, so maybe that makes a difference. He's right in that they do grow quickly.

over priced. Sounds to me like they are just trying to justify to a buyer that its worth more then it really is.
If you want a LMB check your local laws on keeping and collecting native species. Go out and catch you one quarantine it, as you should anyway, treat it for any parasite infection and your good to go.
I kept one from my family farm pond for a while. They are active, fun fish to watch especially at feeding time. Lightning fast.

For that much money you could farm to mail you bass, like as if you were going to stock a pond

Is it a platinum LMB?

Looks like a short body lmb
