Is it a platinum LMB?

It is a color changing bass. It changes from silver to crazy green with patterns.

That silver colour is probably stress or whatever. I have not really heard of fish rapidly changing colour when food is present. Also this guy is an idiot to buy new fish to feed his bass all the time, ever heard of livebearers?

I wouldn't pay that much for a fish like that

The lighter color is probably due to the fact that it is being kept over white rocks. A LMB is an ambush predator and will try to match its environment because of this.

There are platinum gourami at an LFS for 20% more than normal ones, not that bad

I certainly did not have gouramis in mind.I was thinking about the platinum barras,catfish,gars and such.

Yeah i thought so, more of a collectors item. I will just sit and watch as platinum african knives eventually go through the market since i'm a poor sod
