Just picked up this little guy

After having a lot of trouble finding these online. I just so happend to be at the pet shop buying some dog food and saw this little guy (electric blue acara) and he was the last one for the week. I figured he would be perfect for the growout tank. I named him Derrick ( assuming he is a male due to the longer more flowing fins). He is about 2-3 inches long so may be too early to tell.

That is a steal, one like that where I live could go for anywhere from 25-50 bucks

The shop I got him From said that they get them in regularly so I'm going to try to get a breeding pair

They're definitely neat looking little fish. I had a really nice one that unfortunately leaped out of my planted tank last summer.

Yeah they must be jumpers he jumped in the bag several times when I had him acclimating.
