The stand is looking good. Glad it wasn't 4" tubular. I wonder why they put the six short legs on the stand instead of leaving the frame flush on the floor...

Good news the stand wasn't 4" steel tubular I was mid informed when purchased. I'm refinishing it now and it looks more like 2" steel tubular.

Thank you, one more sanding and a finish coat of paint then finished!

No clue, would have made it look a lot better for sure!

Was thinking more along the lines of more even weight distribution. However, it was successful with the tank in the past, so will be good this go around, too. Is it going on a cement floor?
