Wtf! That's cruel. I'm glad it's working out for you. I am excited to see pictures. I am still nervous that it's on wheels but I do hope it holds up well.

Good to see that you are up and running live, congratulations ! Have you ever tested rolling the tank out and back on its wheels with sand, rock and draining down to 12 inches of water, then doing a refill? Just interested in how that is all working since it was a key feature of your build.
I seem to recall someone saying "this thing is probably already built" way back - but damned if I can find it...
Thread trickery! I hope more people dont steal your idea. I too have been watching this thread for quite some time.
The build took over a year. I believe we started buying wood back in May of 2015. Finished in June of 2016. haha
Thank you. We rolled it with about 10-12 inches with water in it, no sand. Sand was put in after the fish. We rolled it forward and backward with no issues. It rolled rather easily too. Just the initial push was hard but once it was rolling, no problem.
We have two pumps on the tank just in case one ever fails. This is the filtration for our first pump. Sponge Mechanical filtration will be before the water reaches the pumps in the side tank and quilt batting above the drip plate for the wet/dry 5 gallon buckets. Also waterproof lights were installed under the bracing for the tank so it wont add any bulk to the top of the tank.
