Been meaning to post an update for some time and figured I'd take a video on this snowy day instead of spending an hour trying to get some decent photos. Video is post Saturday morning water changes (bit cloudy and water spots on glass) so please be kind =) 210 is stocked with CA from Dan's stock. 120 is a bit of a mix with SA/CA/Madagascar mostly from Rapps and the GT and oscar from a LFS. 90 has a Costa Rican citrinellus from Dan's stock. Any questions on species, please ask. Hope you enjoy!

Beautiful tank setups, nice fish too! Love the carpintis and last Midas in last tank right on

Your Polleni is beautiful, how does it get along with the Oscar? I used to have some together and they were hilarious together. Both trying to intimidate the other but ending up just scaring themselves lol

All your tanks look really clean and nicely kept.
That's a really nice looking Oscar you have there.
Enjoyed the video.

Nice tanks, enjoyed the video, love the white midas.

Thanks midasman. My 3 year old named that Midas "Cool" when she was only 18 months old. He gets to sit between two rooms.

Thanks kewpie. That polleni is quite an amazing fish. The oscar and him are hilarious together. It's almost like they're best friends. Very little aggression in that tank overall but none between the two of them.

Appreciate that Stanz! I've found over my years keeping fish, that nothing is more essential to the health of your fish, the satisfaction of the hobby, and the efficiency of the maintenance than doing routine/frequent WC's. I do about 40-50% weekly. The oscar was a great/lucky find. I haven't kept an oscar in probably about 10 years since my last one jumped out during a feeding. He was pushing past 13" at the time. I had been looking for an oscar for that 120 for a couple weeks when I found him at my LFS about a year ago. A customer had asked for an oscar and when the owner brought in a wild caught oscar for the customer, he was disappointed in the lack of color or markings. His loss! I couldn't have been more excited for walking in that day with a few of the remaining Malawi cichlids I was selling to drop off for the owner. It was a great trade. Any guesses on origin?

So much variation in wild oscars I couldn't even begin to guess.like you though I would be much happier with a wild colour Oscar than one of the line bred colour strains.

It's already been said, but very nice tanks. You have a lot of my favorite species, and they all look top notch.
