It's cause you've battled with him for a year straight using a plastic feeding tube lol

I swapped the sand in his tank today... sucker bit me was the first time hes done that
I'm going through a stock renewal currently. Yesterday I sold my 6 Geo. Winemilleri as part of the process of making room for some Rivulatus. Anyhow, my Chocolate Cichlid got a little scuffed up in the ordeal (I have a heavily decorated tank so netting fish is challenge - I use a divider to help with the process). He was one of the fish I was not trying to net but he kept swimming to the short end of the tank, so I'd insert the divider and attempt to net the Geos - twice he/she smashed past the divider and has the missing scales to show for it.

Anyhow, fast forward 2 hours and every other fish is back to normal feeding and he/she is just lurking in the back glaring at me. I can tell from his colour he's not stressed - he's just grumpy.

I'll try hand feeding some frozen food tonight and see if he forgives me. I've been hand feeding hi since he was 2". Never been bit - I wonder if tonight will be a first?
