Jaguar cichlid

Hey everyone I have just recently joined this website in the hopes to learn more about my fish, I have what a I think is a pure jaguar cichlid but not 100% sure and I also want to know if it is a male or female, do I need to start a forum or a post? Any help would be very much appreciated :)

My thoughts aswell, its colour changes sometimes from the color in the picture to a light yellowish color, it's around the 10cm mark but thought it should of been developing it's spotted pattern and going yellow and black by now :/
 
Very predatory shape and interesting colour, be cool to grow out and see it evolve. Still a bit small to sex accurately IMO but leaning female.
 
I agree it has been having a growth sport lately so hopefully it'll get much larger :)
 
A jag would be a terrible idea with an Oscar especially in just a 125.
