Brasiliensis seems like a good call, didn't think of them.

With the Pikes and Mysersi? I don't know I feel like a Jag should have a 180 all to its self.

I wouldn't put a Jag in there, too much of a risk when it gets huge. You could go with a smaller parachromis like loisellei or friedricksthalli tho. If it were my tank, I would probably stick with SA and maybe get a female festae or an atromaculatum if you can find them.

Thanks, I like the harder to find cichlids usually. Saw an atromaculatum at my LFS a few weeks back and was tempted, but didn't have the room at the time.

Atro's are very cool fish I would love to have some someday. I've been on the hunt for Oscura Heterospilus lately, I know COTA has them but am hesitant to order with them.

I agree........But Central Americans have a more problem with dominance ......RD's are a great picture as to what you are getting into.............Although you can squish them like a jail cell from Acapulco, with no fights, this would mean sardineing it with only males.......
