Its weird i noticed how some of them had a green tone to their body while others had a yellow/gold base

I have noticed that to when looking at pictures of the ones different people have gotten from him. I want to say its due to the variety that one spawn of kelberi fry can have as they get bigger.

I used this for my small bass I had and it worked perfectly. Does it work the same with larger bass?

Larger bass can be tuff because of the habits they have already formed. The beauty of little bass is they haven't been set in there ways as far as what i accepted as food. But if you can get them eating bloodworms or other shapeable frozens foods i dont see why it wouldnt work.

S Skyeboy it generally takes longer than a week. Give it time. It will work and is much healthier than feeders for your bass.
