Black ghost knofe fish emergancy!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Sounds like a good upgrade for that stock.
Test your water tomorrow, if your tank is fully cycled with adequate filtration there should be no ammonia and some nitrate.
What filters are you running
Im running a sun sun 303 canister filter, and a quietflow filter that goes up to 90 gallons

If this was a severe water thing i think all the fish would be showing some signs of discomfort. The fact you're saying the others are fine doesn't necessarily mean it's a water thing. Are there any noticeable marks on the fish, badly split fins or cuts for example? Any sharp decor in your tank? I've had fish that have spooked and damaged themselves to the extent that they didn't swim right afterwards for over 48 hrs.

There are some fin spits in its long body fin( dont know what its called). Since it was in my brothers tank it may have scratched itself off of one of his decorations.

It has got a rip in it's fin, i missed that from your original post. I think it's banged itself on something, and hard by the sounds of it. Keep an eye on it, it may shake it off.
