Mourning this Morning

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Thanks man, yeah it was tough losing him-loved that fish dearly. He's from the same wild caught batch as yours from Rapps.
Yes I remember that, i have 3 left I recently sold 2 and once I had them in the bucket I almost regret it lol

That is rough, sorry for your loss. Hindsight is 20/20. Great looking slice of heaven you got there.

I'm assuming you already know I avoided this thread for a reason. TOTALLY SUCKS, BRO!!! Sorry to hear it....I get salty as HELL when I lose a fish, but 5 or 6 years ago, when I had a heater malfunction and I lost some really nice Amazon species, I was telling my buddy about it and how pissed-off I was and he said "You should just be happy for the ones you DO still have and be glad they ALL didn't die".......so that's how I try to look at things these days.

Hope this helps. Pimp-ass new house btw. Keep your head up, things will work out.

Sorry for your loss... On the bright side, Sacandaga is beautiful! I go hiking/fishing/snowmobiling in Piseco every year and would love to live up there eventually. Good luck with the new house

Thanks man yeah it's incredible up here, can't wait to do some fishing this summer and more snowmobiling.

Thanks for the kind words, sir. Hindsight is 20/20- or if you're me and you've had a couple it's 50/50.

Thanks yeah it's been rough fish-wise the past couple of days. You are right though, I am very grateful to still have my favorite Polleni and the few others that survived- my Puffers are tough AF.

All that being said, if anybody ever wants to go fishing on the Sacandaga and have a free place to stay- hit me up!

That's terrible. Sorry for your loss :( Awesome new place!

Thanks man. I just read your thread about your recent polypterus purchase. I don't keep any now, but I fear I've been bitten by the bug. Fascinating fish.
