OMG, GG = Gator Gar LOL Now I WISH you ended up getting the Giant Gourami. Wtf are you gonna do with a 300lb fish that grows 8 feet long? We can get those damn things around here any day of the week for $30, the problem is no one wants them cuz they get so damn BIG.....and then they eat all your fish

I hope your new house and several thousand gallon tank/pond is finished this year...

He's an extremely healthy specimen only thing wrong wit him is the nips in his fin from the RQ cuz now she thinks she hot **** and she's giving out free smoke to all my fish and when they fight back the Dovii comes and beats there ass so she thinks she's untouchable. The worst part is she's right LMAO

I live where they are native so when he gets to big he can go into the 500,000G pond in the backyard AKA the lake
Alligator Gar are NOT native to Florida, Spotted Gar and Florida Gar are though.....but even the Spotted is not native to the part of Florida you live in.

You need to think a little harder about that, Bro. Not making great decisions still. I'll admit you ARE improving, but still making poor choices

According to FWC they are they even put a protective act against the harm of them because there rang has been shrunk so much do to all the bow fishing

Regardless isn't it illegal to release a captive fish into the wild?

Apparently you're right. I remember looking at a map showing their range awhile back and Georgia and Florida were not highlighted on the map, but Wikipedia listed all the Gulf states as native habitat

not if it's on private property
