Updates from the 300

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Could try filament barbs. Will get 6inches with some height. They are a bit more active and will cover the middle and upper zones. Not sure what sizes you were looking for.

I've thought about these. Only downside small/medium middle swimmers is that the tendacy to rest at the bottom and spoon with each other. If they're not large enough and dependant on how opportunistic the polys are. They may deep throat one down.

At one point I had a 210g, 75g, 40B and 20L. This drove the wife nuts, especially since each of the tanks were getting progressively larger, lol. So when we decided to move, I said 'okay, but I get a bigger tank'. She said yes and we remodeled the new home around the tank. So I need to keep up my side of the deal to keep the peace.

Glad you are keeping up with your side of the bargin. A 300 is nice.

The 210g started as a 180
75 started as a 55,
40B started as a 20/30,
20L started as a 10. ;)

Yep thats pretty much the pattern. The 210g started as a 120g which started as a 65B. This is the way you sneak a bigger tank in without a struggle.

Today was a tank scrub down/water change so I end up disturbing the polys a little and they pop out for a bit. Not the greatest pics but an update with pics none the less. ;)

The elusive Koliba lap.

The fun of living with Croc the endli... his tail still bears the scars of getting bit all the time. Now the Koliba is left alone but the tail has never healed back up. Has had the split for a while now.
