Knifefish for a bichir tank

You may be overpaying for the tiger knife. There are two lfs in my area that had them for 30

The only one of the 3 I've even came close to finding in my LFS search(granted it's only been a month) is a banded knifefish which was $20

I'll ship a tiger for ya lately in my area I've been seeing a lot of nice ones like black ghost, tiger, banded, Pom Pom , and African black.

Curious about the personality/aggression differences between the pedanopterus and tigre. I have read that the carapo can be pretty aggro?

Are these types of knives that will mostly not be seen, like a BGK? I do like that the africans can be found out and about.

The carapo and tiger are mainly nocturnal like the bgk. The carapo is more aggressive than a tiger. But anything smaller will be issue with both banded knives.

Also tigers aren't too readily available. Usually carapos are the most imported and the likely knife.

I think I've decided on a tiger even though I can get a carapo from wetspot for $20 and the cheapest tiger I've seen was $75. But from what everyone has been saying the tiger would work better because of temperament and size
