So my tank that I'll be using is approximately 320-330 8'x33"x24"gallons with a 75 gal sump/wet dry. I don't want multiple fish, maybe a showpiece and some dithers but that would be it. I started out as a big CA/SA aggressive tank and it became a fail with 2 of my favorites jumping out of the tank during a vacation last summer. I sold off several fish and recently changed to try a pair of midas/midevils and a pair of festae. To my surprise the female midevil I bought has totally shredded up my big male who is literally 5x or more her total mass. I just get disgusted Everytime I look at the tank. It's made me change my mind on breeding anything... So I'm thinking of selling the lot and trying something a lot less likely to fail...Like a single wet pet. What would you do with this tank and a single or show fish with some dithers?

Lol, too many options... I would like something with nice color, but if it had great personality I wouldn't get hung up on looks

I think I'm leaning towards one of the three, but certainly open and welcome suggestions
1. Umbee
2. Dovii
3. Jardini
4. Fahaka

if you want a 'pet' get gourami!-) ive been struggling to not trade in my dovii and buy the 15" male rtgg at my lfs in their 7x7x2.5 show tank... really miss my old gg, their jaw power is astounding, slicing up big chunks of cucumber and squid, the rtgg is gorgeous too!

Thumbs up on the Jardini, I never owned one but I think a tank that size it would make a awesome wet pet, my other suggestion would be a Nothern Pike, they get to be equally sized & definitely a force to be reckoned with,,,,,
