Bottom glass plate or tempered ?

I have a marineland 150 thats tempered all around but i remember reading some where that the bottom glass is sometimes plate. Is there any way to tell as i would like to drill after setting up the new tank.

Most marineland (well most all glass) tanks are tempered bottom/plate sides. There are some odd all tempered tanks and a few small that are all plate.

You can drill anything that's not tempered.
