Thats always cool to do, throw some one cash for stopping to help. Polihale was another place seems people are always getting stuck in the sand dunes. We would always bring tow ropes when heading out there and if you were able to pull someone out, sure enough people would always want throw us some cash or some kind of token of appreciation. I had my 4X4 goes out crossing a stream mouth a few years ago at like 1:30am in heavy rain and rising water. In an area you normally dont see anyone but sure someone pulls right around corner and actually stops and pulls me out, its like, thank god.
