Breeding rays with Asian aro in tank

Hi all
Has anyone experience of breeding rays in the same tank as an adult Asian aro?
If so what size tank was it in?

Do you have to partition your male and female inside the 300 gallon once in a while? I raised a pair of BD's over the past year with larger aros and had no problem until I had to partition due to the male BD harassing the female. Once partitioned the tank space was too small on either side for the Asian arowana. In the end I sold the female BD since I did not think the partition strategy was going to work long term for the arowana. Thoughts?
