I got arowana 2 weeks ago.It is not friendly . Today morning it jumped out of the tank

Typical behavior from an Arowana and they sometimes jump when the tank they are in is too small

I have 6x2x2 foots tank that I used to grow out a 6 inches Chilli Red Arowana (Super Red), 1 day I didn't fully close the lid and have 2 inches open gap, its seem I have very small margin for it to jump out cause it will need to jump at a right angle and at a right spot to make it through, I woke up in next morning with A dried out super red on the floor....3 thousand dollars fish gone bye bye just like that :)

What kind of arowana is it and were you able to rescue and return it to it's tank?

Man that suck, but the upside is you had dried up chilli pepper.

its silver arowana. i think it is afraid on me
Some very skittish and you will need to approach your tank slowly, avoid all fast sudden moves, some just try to jump with your movement when you are feeding it lol. Anyway, its calm down with time and will be more confident when you're around the tank.
