I laugh because its a night and day difference between my Porkchop and your Hulk. Female pearsei seem so much calmer than the males. But they do have their 'opinions' of what they like and dont like.
Yep. I understand that. Cichlids can be a pain, but at the same time it's what makes them so interesting.

I like hearing about the difference between Hulk and Porkchop's personalities. Both are hilarious yet beautiful fish, and sound like they each have their moods. Gives some insight in how different the same species of fish can be! I know they will probably never meet, but I like to pretend haha.

Plus a interesting show of what the difference in sex of the fish can mean. Having owned a few fish in the amphilophus family, I can say that for me the males were always more outgoing with the flaring at you, biting you and general glass banging. The females were always calmer.
