Poor hets heater got unplugged by some a hole cat or dog, they're okay though! Warming up and not very active atm, I'll take a video tomorrow maybe or tonight. In the meantime my man Buzz, my treasured Paratilapia Polleni was looking real good today.
My new guys in here, please excuse the aquascaping I'm aware it's disgusting lol, are the Maskoheros Regani that I got from COTA with the hets and Maskoheros Argentea from good ol Jeff Rapps. Argentea is a female and has been doing okay in community setting.

Thats awesome. Aregentea are probably the best looking cichlid for me. Funny when i got my 1st group of hets i also got a group of argentea. Man they were sob's. Eventually kept the best looking male and it would not tolerate any sort of tankmates. Keep an eye on them lol beautiful fish man

Lol I couldn't help but laugh when he chased the other one at the very end of the video. I've had the severum for a while, it was going to be another babysitter to the hets but was being really territorial.

I haven't had a good first experience with cichlids, maybe I will get some kribs to sate my African addiction, depends if I get polys or my mystery fish

Thanks sir, not all cichlids are stone cold killers lol My hets here are pretty peaceful so far and do well in groups. I'm more of a peaceful cichlid guy now, and if I do have an aggressive species I keep them alone.
