Need help with water perimeters

Dont know why i didnt think of this earlier but you could always get a hob overflow and a new pump to address the the flow issues.
Im not a huge fan of them but i do have an eshopps overflow on a 150 gal. Its a little noisy and not as flood proof as other methods but better than nothing

Drop a black sponge in the last compartment and a fitler wool on the sponge.
the noise issue is gone. Everyday just rinse the wool.

I like the idea of the cpr unit better than what im using because if the added security if the aqualifter

So i did fin level WC today, and i added more 6lbs worth of lava rock as media in the sump, i put the old media with the new. I also put a powerhead in the sump to move the water around.
I will do three time a week WC fin level till i get every perimiters down and ill be ordering a jebao dct12000 and a eshopps pf-1800 overflow to change my filtration.

Monday ammonia 1.0
Now ammonia .50


Monday nitrite 1.0
Now nitrite O.5 or 0 not sure can you guys clarify pls

Your readings are stating that you are mid cycle and still not having enough bacteria to convert the ammonia on its own. That means you are on the right track and doing what's necessary. Nice job doing right by your fish. The new equipment will stabilize things and have the cycle under control once and for all in the very near future.

Keep those water changes up and make sure to dose your tank with prime (for the tank volume) every 24-48 hours. That will detoxify the ammonia until things are sorted

Thank you, but all the credit goes to you guys for helping me out, i will update this thread one i get all the equipment. And i will keep updating every WC till all perimiters are all normal.
