Hey guys. Wanted to give a quick update on my Myersi.
I moved them into my 180 with my trio of Crenicichla Tapajos I and some newly acquired Markianna Nigrippinis I picked up from B bigguapote at the Big Fish Deal last weekend hosted by the CCA.
The pikes are hiding in this video but the Myersi are out and about. The dominant male is pushing 7-8 inches now with the larger female just a little smaller and the second female at roughly 4.5 inches now. The large male is very rough on the two females. He is now displaying more to them but both are unresponsive. Perhaps still too small or immature. The Markianna are helping with the aggression as they are quite active and distracting. Really like these giant tetras.
They look better every day. The video doesn't capture the blues in their fins well. Love these fish!
