Upcoming Movies and TV shows

darth pike darth pike I was definitely disappointed by X3 but I wasnt that upset. I did read that they plan on re-doing the whole Dark Phoenix storyline in upcoming movies because they agreed they really screwed that one up.

For The Wolvervine I was really disappointed because Aronofsky was the original director and I love his work. I don't know how much changed after Manigold replaced him. I will say that even though I was upset when seeing it in the theatre I do enjoy watching it on TV now and appreciate it more. Unlike the first Wolverine which is just an incoherent mess.
 
I guess I'm different. I wasn't impressed with X2. I didn't care for the storyline. The issues I had with X1 and X3 were the way the storylines played out but overall I felt they were better then X2.

I liked DoFP the best. I also liked the Wolverine ones too...then First Class.

I know movies and comics always try to change things up to make things different but I've never been 'impressed' with OLD man Logan and think it's stupid.

I thought the events of DOFP cleared it up. So what happened in all previous movies don't happen anymore

What I don't understand is, how did the professor come back to life? I don't remember them explaining that, unless I'm forgetting something. But in the post credit scene of the second wolverine movie prof x appears and just says to a surprised wolverine something like, you're not the only one with special powers.
 
I personally didn't like any of the first 3 xmen movies. I don't hate them but never cared for them. Avengers blow xmen away

They didn't get it right until first class and dofp. Then they screwed up apocalypse.

I thought first wolverine was a decent movie about 2/3 into it. Then it sucked after that. What they did to Deadpool was atrocious

In X3, prof X was teaching a class if it was morally right for someone with powers to take over another person's body. It also show's Mcctaggert(sp) (prof X's unofficial girlfriend) with a comatose patient. At the end of the movie...he wakes up.

I'm not sure where I heard this but Prof X had a twin bother that was "brain dead" at birth. He was kept alive all this time. So, the theory is before prof X's body was torn apart in X3, he transferred his mind to his brother's body.
 
I guess i hated X3, I never bothered to watch it again. I'll have to look into that.

And I've never heard about prof x having a brother, that's interesting
 
Warborg got it right. That is how it was done in the comics.

I have never read the Old Man Logan comics but from my understanding it sounds pretty stupid actually. I was big into comics in the 90s as a young teen and followed some X-men, but loved the cartoons. Some of the story lines they come up with are far out there and honestly are impossible to translate to the big screen.

I just wish they would hurry up and make a new Spawn movie.
 
A new Spawn with current special effects technology would be great,have they been talking about bringing forth a new one?
 
I recommend Blood Father for you all's veiwing pleasure.
 
Having not seen it yet (this is my Friday, so will see it this week), but from the previews it seems more focused on the X-23 storyline, just set in the Old Man Logan time frame. I could be totally wrong about that of course having not seen it, but that's the impression the previews leave me.
