It has been a while since I drove to the Houston airport to receive a cargo of wild multidens from Oliver Lucanus- the fish acclimated to Texas hard water and slowly grew to be such majestic beasts, i simply can't stop marveling at the subtle colorations and strange shapes and behaviors they display. I keep a total of 8 adults in an acrylic tank - heated during the winter just around 70F. The fish have spawn several times but I have not been able to maintain the fry alive until now, so I share with you parent and offspring pictures.

Congratulations and thanks for sharing. I love how you keep the rare cichlids going in the hobby.

Wow! What a beautiful fish, congratulations on the spawn. I've never heard of these guys before.
