Looking for male green terror

Not necessarily. And yes they will. I didn't have a male in with mine and she laid twice. She is just prepping for her 3rd.

You'll know if it lays eggs. You can't miss them and she will be guarding them. Plus the egg tube is unmistakable. I took this today. It's hard to miss. Lol

She will always be my favorite Not nearly as beautiful as a male, but the amount of orange she has still surprises me. I really hope her genes mixed with my wild boy will make for some good looking babies.

I think he is 4" tops. Probably a little less. He has not grown as much as the others which is why I have him in QT getting treated for internal parasites.



That's him in the foreground the day I added him to my tank. Maybe 3.5" at that time. He has not grown much but he has gotten better colour.

My QT tank is not lit so I can't get a new pic.

I am Vancouver, Canada by the way. Never shipped a fish but I suspect the shipping would cost more than what I'd sell this guy for!

I can always see the egg tube on mine. It's just smaller. This is a really crappy picture but shows what it looks like when she isn't spawning.


She just spawned today so that picture I posted this morning is what it looks like the day she lays.

Oh, no that's not what I ment. Sorry, I should have been more clear. The male parts are pointy and the females egg tube is blunt. That's why I asked if it was pointy or blunt.
