What to feed small clown knife fish?

Just got an albino CK, size is about 15cm (6in)... tried ghost shrimps but it seems theyre just a little bigger for his small mouth.. perhaps guppys? What do you usually feed clown knife at this size?

I would ask the vendor what they were feeding it. It probably will need a little time to acclimate to the new environment .

The knife would feel more secure at that size but may hide alot until it got larger or got comfortable with you.

I just picked one up about 7"-8" and it took about a week. It's killing Hikari sinking gold and sinking carnivore. It was being fed cut fish before I got it, I never offered it anything but pellets.

Don't use live feeder fish unless necessary. Shrimp can work, if hungry it would tear them up.

I would try offering pellets as a staple and shrimps as treats

Ive had great luck with black worms and night crawlers.

I've been finding the little shells of shrimp in my tank head n there. Is that the CKF eating them? Or no? Anybody else ever find these?
