How considerate should we be when we choose a screen name... and in general?

Thank you all who chipped in on the topic. As my OP states, I didn't want the talk, just the voting, but of course this forum is as yours, guys, as it is mine. So all is good.
I am not inclined to explain the motivation behind this thread's, rather poll, creation because it is self-explanatory IMHO to those to who it matters. If it isn't self-explanatory in your opinion, I suggest ignoring the thread. Nothing's wrong with that.
I don't like the screen name in question but I'd not say I am offended. I don't like the MFK's avatar either with its telltale horns and tail, so what? I can't say I am offended by it. Offended is a strong word. I don't like MFK avatar and I ignore it just the same as I will ignore the user with the screen name in question. That is all.
This thread has shown me where my dear peers stand on this issue and helped me correct my thinking and thus serves its purpose well. Hopefully people will continue voting... perhaps even for years to come.
I am not put off or offended by any of your words and I thank you all for your takes, explanations, and taking the time to participate.

and I have had this discussion in private about the MFK symbol. I still don't get how MFK professes that religion / spirituality is off limits and fashions its symbol referencing in no uncertain terms quite a certain religious / spiritual being.
That's hypocritical to me. But I don't get hung up on it. I enjoy talking fish with all the guys here.

Sorry to burst your bubble but I think it's more referrring to a stereotypical monster instead of a religious figure, unless Li intended it otherwise...
