We had already figured it out that we don't see eye to eye on the MFK logo with you, which is quite fine and dandy and rather inconsequential.

I don't think I can add much to what I have already stated. Logo is a statement to me. Any Company's logo is a much thought-through symbol, a statement that speaks to people on both conscious and subconscious levels, in which way it is designed to work as an advertisement. It tell people about the essence of the Company. It's a statement.

I just wish MFK's statement about itself didn't utilize the immediately recognizable traits of a harmful and evil spiritual being.

I agree that MFK doesn't promote that dark spirituality in words or otherwise but the logo coupled with the word monster (which otherwise could be merely about the size) carry a meaning that's not uncertain.

[1] MFK claims to believe or feel (for our own benefit which is nice and I appreciate it) that religious and spiritual discussions are not to occur but designs a logo that invokes an evil spiritual being in no uncertain terms. As pointed out above, this being is deemed evil by way more people and cultures, perhaps 99%+, than just Christians.

[2] ... it was hypocritical to demand respect from students without respecting them in return. = it is hypocritical to state we are spiritually and religiously neutral and please let's keep off this topic meanwhile crowning all the site activity on every page with a logo that can be seen as invoking a spiritual / religious figure by anybody who'd pay a moment's worth attention to it, again because of the universal recognition of the symbol.

Yet, again, these are just my takes and thoughts. I am not hung up on it, meditate on it, or am offended by it. We can agree to disagree and be thankful we got to know each other better, if we are so inclined. People become closer and even friendlier the more they feel they know each other.

As for private avatars, they are 1000x easier to ignore as they don't carry the power of the MFK's logo. A completely different weight category and impact. A guppy versus Ariberto's 40" African tigerfish A knife-wielding diver versus a nuclear-armed submarine

Couldnt any logo be interpreted many different ways ? The monster in monster fish keepers would indicate to me that the horns are meant to be a play on monsters. Maybe if it was called devil fishkeepers it would mean something different to me.

no you misunderstand me, I want to rob the 100% anti-police people, not the ones who look at cases and see if it was brutality or not with an unbiased view to find the truth. I imagine you would know that situation far better than most for sure.

Ultimately I just want to see what some of them do when I show up and tell them I'm taking their stuff...do they fight back...do they break protocol and call the police...its really more of a social experiment and if I can get a free flat screen out of it why not.

Ok lets dance lol. My dislike for that member has nothing to do with his avatar, i dont like him because of who he is, i dont like his avatar but that is very different from saying i find it offensive. To each his own.

As for the fractured skull you'll have to find the artist and ask him/her what the intended meaning is. Violence does not bother me one bit, if someone takes it that way then so be it im not going to justify or plead to anyone how to interpret the picture. I will say that I LIKE IT because it portreys what we are....crack ourskulls if you have to but we'll still be there day in and day out to do our job.

I find it offensive that people on the other side of this for the most parts are hypocrites they want their cake, the icing, the glass of milk, and the utensils plus the tabke they are eating it on. I have no issues with someone being anti-law enforcement as long as they dont depend on the law to keep them safe.

I'm glad you've cleared it up, because before it might be that you want to crack the skulls of any one that disagrees, that you keep serving through a cracked skull, or that you like to eat brains. Personally, I was leaning toward the latter the whole time, but I've only just developed this opinion as I typed this sentence.

Personally, I think politicians should stop politicizing the work of law enforcement, but that won't happen. BlackLM vs. BlueLM has become code in the United States for liberal vs. conservative, minority vs. white, etc. by playing off of the racial-fear and xenophobia that we all harbor at some level (there is a biological/evolutionary basis for fear of "outsiders"). And in that vein, I love police body-cameras... shows great police work in action almost all of the time. And the bad eggs get theirs regardless of which side of the badge they are on.
