Some very nice Ornates on this thread. Here is a bug guy to ad to thread. My old 23" ornate (RIP). Tank was a custom 26" X 60. Tape on bottom also for reference

Wow, that's a huge ornate! And not washed out... so it can happen.

I can't say for certain but I believe he was wild caught. I got him back in 2006, way before the flood of CB Ornates hit the market up here. Also destinctive was his body shape. Most mature CB Ornates I see now have a taper to their body from their head to their tail. Mine had no taper- thick from head to tail.

My quest is to find another like him some day

This ornate is the reason why i end up byuing two again.

My 1st poly ever which I got at 3" or so. Had it for 5 years before it died.

Well you know what category mine falls under. Think Vancouver_98683 had a jerk too

I had two 15-16" adult 'jerky ornates'. One had a degree in being a Head Bite Specialist.
