My 9 inch tsn hasn't eaten since yesterday morning. Usually he eats twice a day, so he has refused three meals. I have only had him for about 3 months, but he always eats well. Is it typical for them to occasionally come off their food?
I feed mostly tilapia and some feeder fish. Thank you for letting me know that this just happens sometimes.Mine used to do that, what are you feeding.
Mine used to just need a day or 2 to digest as he was a fat boy and could take 3/4 whole mussels at a time.
I'd say leave him for a day or 2 and watch if his belly goes down a bit and then maybe try and feed again on the 3rd day.
You're overfed! 2x time a day is way overfeeding. They are greedy eater and will gore themselves to death, I feed my tiger 1x every 2 days and its not even show any sight of "skinny" looking...Also, stay away from live feeder fish, its fine with market prawn unless you think combat diseases is fun in this hobby, 1 day it will get you and the cost is your tiger life, and I'm pretty sure you won't get away with that.My 9 inch tsn hasn't eaten since yesterday morning.
