Nothing like a new piece of equipment

Just finally splurged and bought an aqua uv sterilizer 57 watt for my 300. Lets see if this bad boy is good as everyone says it is. Better be for the price lol. Half the fun is just plumbing it into the system for me. Had some scrap wood in my shed so built a little stand for it to lay on. Kinda tight behind my sump so couldn't really mount it like I wanted too.

I just picked up an Aqua UV Advantage 15 watt a couple weeks ago for my 180. I'm using an aqua clear 70 power head to move water through it now from one sump chamber to another before it returns up into my display tank.

Nice. Yea I saw one of my lfs with a similar set up recently and had me thinking about doing the in sump uv with a power head but ended up just tying it into one of my return lines.
