The title says it all. I'm really really thinking about getting some redhead tapajos for my 75G. I will rehome my current 4 fish if everything goes good
Do anybody have any redhead tapajos?

O reallyI used to keep Tapajos in my 75g. At one point I had 7. It was fine as juveniles, but it looked seriously cramped once they grew up. Even though there wasn't any aggression, I wouldn't do it again.
When I moved the group to a 6' 135g tank it was much better.
I have also kept them in a group as small as 3. I know people say they should be kept in groups, but they were fine as a trio. Obviously more looks better, but I don't think they acted any differently or were adversely affected, but what do I know. I'm not a fish.
Wow. Reallyi had 7 in my 75g. lots of aggression. I wouldn't do it again. Spawning was rampant too. Enjoying my single wet pet far far more!
Yes I understandmax 4-5 inches (males) females were like 3-4 inches. i kept a school of lemon tetras with them as dither fish which kept them out in the open but did nothing to curb aggression. As soon as you have a pair formed its all over. My one pair would take over the whole tank and beat on the other ones to protect the fry.
I didn't like the crazy agresive behavior so no I wouldn't attempt to keep geos in a group unless I had a massive tank. like even 6' tank is going to be small for multiple geo pairs once they are mature. I had red head tapajos.
Thanks a lot buddyIf you don't put dither with the redheads they will hide a lot. They are very shy fish. as they get older it gets better though but a group of tetras is required imo. I got rid of them all for that reason. I re-homed them, when they were all in good health and no major other than a few torn fins
