Great, no aggression or anything. He usually tools arounf the upper levels of the tank but lays down next to the poly piles too

Thankfully I've got nobody in my tank small enough to meet that kind of fate. Also is that a Florida or an alligator gar? Really hard to tell with platinum but the gator gars are a lot more bitey
