Looks like there is a distributer about an hour away from me. But it also looks like they only carry the waterjet abrasives. Anyone got any clue if that is same? I sent them an email, fingers crossed.

Don't know much about the differences. The waterjet grade is used for high pressure cutting.
So I got a call back from Ryan at Barton he left me a message. They only sell it in 40 bag pallets 1 ton. I called him back about an hour later and left him a message. I said that would be to much just looking for 2-4 bags and told him what info I found(was also in the email) no answer back yet. Ill have to do more research on the company that has the waterjet stuff. See if I can find their number. Its not on Bartons site. Need about 20 people to do a group buy local to me that want red substrate..............(crickets chirping)
There's no need to attempt a group pallet order. Have u called Grand Northern in Michigan? Located in Byron and 2 hours from Flint.

No I havent. Once again awesome! I have found some at a couple places but wrong size or way to expensive.
Did you ask if there were any distributors ? They were able to track down a sherman williams paint store in baltimore for me
I asked that in the email I first sent. He seemed more interested in telling me they only sell it in pallets. When I called him back it went to voice mail and I reiterated what id said in the email, he hasn't responded yet. I have not had time to call him back yet either. I have tried a painters supply they don't carry it or any garnet of any type they do mostly automotive paint you'd think they would carry it.
