Just some advice if i were you i would aim to keep a female. Buy a handful when your ready and grow them.out since they are impossible to sex for quite some time. Males are a handful

Seconding the female, had to rehome my male because he was a brute... Completely abused the lungfish. Definitely a cool and smart fish though, sad it didn't work out

I would agree with the others. My female is very laid back in comparison to what others with males have experienced.

Wetspot has some but they're under Cincelichthys pearsei rather than Herichthys pearsei. Same fish?

If you havent purchased the pearsei yet. Look into bocourti. Another large growing herbivore and absolutely stunning.

Lol they are bur you may want to consider picking one of them. Both being from the same genus and being herbivores and knowing how mich of an ass a pesrei could be i think your likely to have issues

Yes im in this boat. If i ever uograded the 150 then i would consider a boc they've always been on my bucket list infact my son had the choice at the time if waiting a few weeks for the boc (our intended fish) or getting the pearsei that day.

The ornate might be eligible for early release though. The smaller pbb is acting like an ass maybe the ornate will change that haha
