There are white growths that have been developing on the same area and same area on my flowerhorn for the past two weeks or a little less (see picture). It looks like fungus but I have been using api fungus cure, rid ich, and pimafix in alteration as well as 75% weekly water changes and the same growths just keep coming back in the same are . the fish is active ,eating and acting normal What is this?

Dial back on the chemicals. You're using way too much for something that is more cosmetic than health related. I'd imagine it's some kind of parasite / worm. Finish out your med cycles and give it some time. It doesn't look like anything I'd be alarmed about

Is it same with my flowerhorn? Attached here is his pic. Any update about your flowerhorn? Thank you

Yes you were right! It's hexa! I think his case was already a systemic one. I just realized that the lesion on his left side was already an onset of lateral line erosion. I thought it was just a traumatic lesion. Anyway what made me realized that it was indeed hexa was the appearance of 2 pitting holes on his kok. I started with metro 500mg dissolved in warm water then diluted it to match the tank's temp. Then I also started with azoo anti-endoparasite, metro is one of the active ingredients, i presoaked his pellets.
My big question is how long the medication regimen should be given. should i withdraw the treatment once symptoms improve or continue for a couple or few more days? Thanks bro!

Update: his poop is already like this after 3-4 days of metro treatment. Should i still continue with the pre-soaking of pellets in azoo anti-endoparasite(with metronidazole component) and putting dissolved metro in the tank? Thanks

Many thanks! I will continue with his meds. I am thankful that he is already recuperating. I will ask first from the local pet stores here in the Philippines and if none I will get one from eBay. You too good luck!
