on rereading, how has the confed flag been taken over? sorry I put in the removal of monuments in there, had nothing to do with what you stated.

I think borg is referring to how that flag has been pretty much adopted by various supremacist and hate groups which has contributed to the negative image it currently has.

Hello; Yes this and the movies also. I watched the old 60's film "In The Heat Of The Night" again this past week. In one scene a group of guys are chasing Tibbs in a 1957 Plymouth Fury. The film had a close up of the bad guys car's front bumper and it had a confederate flag metal plate on the front bumper.
Pretty sure other films have used the confederate flag as being associated with various bad guys. Guilt by such association in made up fiction portrayals.

Maybe like the bad guys in the old westerns wore black hats and the good guys wore white hats. No actual relation to the real old west but an association we have become indoctrinated with by the film media. Think of which music is associated with particular movie themes like comedy, drama, suspense and the like.
 
ahh,, got it, not being from there or ever lived there, just never viewed it as that. On the other hand see lotsa bumper stickers trying to take away my rainbows!, lol.
 
Glad I do not have a little 6 year old that see,s that rainbow sticker and says dad! get a rainbow sticker!! while at the store.

......of course the media has it in for him and that will never change,they will never forgive him for beating hilery no matter what he accomplishes.....that said,he doesn't do himself a lot of favors either oftentimes.
 
From what I see, Comey doesn't have ish. He wants to claim Trump asked him to to stop the investigation on Flynn. Doesn't have an actual memo, or recording, but rather a memo Comey wrote to himself??? Then you have idiots like Schumer talking about, "History is watching." Gtfo!!! Watching what!??
