right so I have a 55 gallon stocking
1 Senegal Bichir
1 angel fish
5 Colombian tetra
1 gold severum
1 fire mouth
1 festive
1 ram
1 blue acara
2 pearl gourami
1 bristle nose
my question is can I add anything else? my filter is an EFX 300 I also have 2 air filter
I was thinking of adding a Bichir of some sort??? and also a spiny eel would that work and what about any other fish? thank you

I agree about being overstocked but wouldn't add anything else. You will have to keep your eyes on the Cichlids may have issues with agression later .

I have learned that the key to keeping most Cichlid species is space most are territorial and will also establish a pecking order. The dithers help sometimes but break sites also help like plants, driftwood.

Actually I wouldn't add any fish, I think the stock you have is pushing it for a 55 gallon tank.
