Stuck between a Teugelsi and WC place

So one of the shops around me got in some new fish. And among them is a tiny baby Teugelsi. Around 2" and already munching on the tetras they threw it in with. They've got it listed for 35 and I'm pretty tempted to pick it up and put it in my growout. I was waiting to order a bigger wc Teugelsi from toyin but this price is killer. Is there any major advantage to wc over cb with Teugelsi? I'm tempted to do it but don't know if it would be worth the wait and extra cash for the wc

I think either way you'll be very happy. I love my CB and theres really not a lot of difference appearance wise. Wild caught are more slender i believe. And they grow like weeds lol

Personally, I would save up and buy a wc teugelsi. I've kept 4 CB teug and 1 WC. Definitely like the look of a wc more! The headshape looks much better. But CB teug isn't a bad option though.

I'd say get both lol so you could decide which is nicer.

Our teug growth thread has some pretty stunning cb's i do like the snub nose on the wc but both are nice.

Why not see if toyin has smaller sized teugs ? Im almoat positive he does

It's 75° and sunny today but snowed 2 days ago. Picked up the little cb today and put him in the growout. Got a 7" fire Eel too because he was picking on the angelfish they had him with and had him at a killer price

I don't think you'll regret it. These guys have a personality and quirks that just make them fun to own. If you feed it regularly ( I dont powerfeed but im definitely not skimping) it'll grow like a weed. Mine grew a little over an inch a month.

Yeah last time i talked him he said he had 6" and up. I think it'll be cool to see both wc and cb in the same tank.

Does anyone have the two together currently? I'm contemplating on doing a WC teug as my next pick up if he still has some smaller ones when i decide to order again.

awesome and a fire eel to boot score! If you don't mind me asking how much did you pay for your fire eel

yeah my teug grew about 1/2-3/4" per week for the first couple months so yeah they grow like a weed

Got the fire for $30. Their other ones around his size were listed at 55 and up based on size
