Id this catfish

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I don't see an RTC in this fish. I am pretty sure it is TSN (mother) x achara (father), the usual hybrid - we get culls from them being farmed for food in South America.

Compare with pictures in this thread where I've been depositing relevant links: https://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/...could-it-be-p-corruscans.564171/#post-6726748

RTCxachara are very rare and not a particularly viable hybrid, hence, they are not used in farming. We only get them in our trade from some farm lab experiments once or twice in 5-10 years.

I thought you had said you checked out of the hobby because of the college?

Ya but just can't abandon my fishes and the passion right now trying to make balance between studies and fishkeeping :)

Pls update its growth

This was mine before i sold it off

The one in the back is achara (mother) x RTC (father). Right? Or is it the far more common TSNxRTC?

The front is TSNxachara.

Sorry, for clarity the cat in the back - is it achara x RTC or TSN x RTC?

I am pretty sure it's the former but wanted to leave no doubt in your answer.
