I have a 80 gallon 5ft aquarium with 4 silver dollars, 1 geophagus brasilisensis, a pictus catfish and a bristlenose pleco, i want some ideas for tank mates, i am prepared to give up the geophagus or pictus catfish but i want tankmates for the silver dollars.

If you add a uaru and keep the brasiliensis you will probably find the uaru gets bullied.
Brasiliensis can be very aggressive to other cichlids especially if the tank is a little small.
You would also not have room for an adult uaru and brasiliensis. Both can get around 12 inches, possibly more for the uaru.
I would be inclined to add a couple more silver dollars and call it stocked.
If you do add any more fish,I would make them non cichlid species while you have the brasiliensis. He probably thinks he owns the tank now.
If you remove the brasiliensis you could maybe do a pair of heros sp Rotkiel or other more peaceful south American cichlid.

The brasiliensis is very aggresive and i think i want to take him out, he constantly chases the silver dollars, if i took him out do you think i should get a pair of cichlids or a group of peaceful, samll geophagus like geophagus parnaibe.

If you remove the brasiliensis a group of biotadoma cupido would be a better fit for that size tank.
Or maybe a group of keyholes.
With something like these you could watch them breed and not have to much aggression.
