I would kill for that substrate. I wish it was available in my area.
That PBB and ghost vogue poly deserve only the best though!

On the topic of garnet. Red is available in the 30/40 grain in the Portland, OR area. In case there are some locals looking for some substrate ideas. Member T.peterson had our offixe bring in a pallet load. Here's his purchase.

White sand will wash out any poly, i have a tan playsand in my 65g and it works good with beuttikoferi and ornate but idk if it will work on moke. For mokes, is there any color besides garnet, to get the patterns and green to pop? Will white was them out? Mine is on black right now in the QT, but main tank has white pool sand......
Your poly dont have patterns, lol.black popped the green in my polys![]()
shush youYour poly dont have patterns, lol.
Its harder to make the polys pattern to pop out on black sand, but for ornate, palmas and beuttikoferi will be perfect, im guessing a retro will be nice in black sand to make it more green.
Dang. Should I top the pool sand with a layer of black? (I don't think that will look very good. What if I mixed black together with the PFS? Or do I have to do full on replacement?
