Sp. Faranah from rehoboth aquatics

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
That backround was such a waste of money lol. Every poly that wasnt an endli kind of reset and when through a whole settling stage again once i moved them in. Should have just done solid black....maybe the universe will allow me to get another tank lol
It looks super cool though! Can always do something different with another tank :)

Oh yeah, headshape might look a little different due to it lacking a bit of mass(especially for a 16.5"). Your new fish is still on the skinny side.
Thats what i mean though tp me it doesnt look as tapered toeards the snout in fact not taper at all. To me f laps head shapes are pretty consistent towards the snout
My old faranah lap(It was once Cohazard Cohazard 's fish).

Looks like it. Salt and clean water will fix it.

Yeah agreed. Im not arguing either way. I can go buy what toyin listed it as and you cans can be right who knows but the headshape and patterns still look different to me than your f lap.

Disclaimer : friendly debate lol i love these discussion bro.

This is what i see :the headshape looks diff, horizontal lines are different to.me the f laps have multiple lines and they look like the extend further, bands are full on the new fish and not broken where as they are on the f laps.

I agree that the headshape are different and the patterns are slightly different, that's kind of my point, that Polypterus display so much variation between individuals. I don't agree that all f Lap have a consistent headshape. The fact that my three look different proves that lol

It will help when I get better pictures of my three, I'll work on that this weekend as well as the mokes.

I dont know bro i agree on slight variarions but imo faranah laps are pretty consistent in terms how the snout end up....bigger poly thicmer head so of course its relative to size. Maybe just my eyes but just one stripe and king els description of what it is what pretty spot on.

Params on the water probably suck small amount of bio on a 20 gal with a 16 inch poly lol i may just stop the pg and dump her in the big tank
